This story is awful, and I’m not sure I’ll be able to finish. I have liked all her other stories, but this one feels like her manifesto. It’s like she took all of the current hot topics, like LGBTQ issues, abortion, racism, etc. and stuffed it all in one book so that we’d all know her position. I felt like I was watching the news instead of trying to escape into a story.
