Charlotte Bronte wrote it and it has been deemed a classic in English literature. Its a very entertaining book if you get the chance to read it. The only down side is that it can be a little predictable but when it was written it was very uncommon for women to write about such "saucy" topics. Nothing extreme by our standards but again, for the time it was very forward thinking. I hope this helps!
