Book 1 Dark Tides - likely DNF due to inconsistent characters (they know things they shouldn't or don't know things they should with their past experiences, plus it doesn't align with the prequel setup) and conversational tell not show world building which is not my thing. Also references to events in the prequel/spin off story made me feel left out of the loop, like I was missing something big if I hadn't read it.
