Really an incredible novel, but far more about military thinking than real action. The battle scenes are highly glossed-over in favour of the more human aspect. Not a bad thing, but if you're looking for a novel that reflects the movie - know what you're getting into. Fortunately, I wasn't! Heinlein is a genius!

Picked this one up off the USMC Professional Readnig List (better than any book club I know). So far, so good. Really interesting, though the 1st person is a little unsettling at times.
