"It was the first time he'd ever uttered her name." Eighteen months after spending a weekend together (which resulted in the title baby), he finally calls her by her name. And not because he didn't know it. Because he's that much of an arrogant jerk. (And since reuniting, he's been aggressive about getting her back into bed...twice. Neither time saying her name!)

I usually enjoy her but since this is part of mini-series do we need to read the rest?

I haven't read any book by this author yet, but I'm finding the hero to be very unlikable. So far, he's too physically aggressive for my taste. It seems pretty stand-alone so far, so I don't think you'd need to read the rest of the series.
