the plot is messy i’m sorry. and there does not need to be 4 POVs. we’re halfway through and loth has not done one single significant thing. the action scenes are clunky and not suspenseful. also i don’t really give a crap about sabran, i was so happy when ead made it back to the priory😭

god i want to like it so bad… but there’s so many plot points that i do not understand.
for example, ead being able to open that magic box with her blood… the whole mystery of what that paper said was chalked up as being huge, but then ead suddenly says “oh so and so told me mage’s blood is like a golden knife” and she was able to open it??? how convenient is that
