[Reading it for the first time in the 21st century makes it a primary document, written in the crispest prose. They titular essay has my mind churning over the peak hippie moment / place. So many drugs; so many people 14-17; the constant use of phrases expressing "it's your trip", both literally and metaphorical (for "worldview"? or "the journey she's on"?). ]
