this book is so worth reading, but it's really slow going - the diarist didn't punctuate, so the editors didn't so as to preserve the text's integrity, and i'm finding it real difficult to get into a coherent reading rhythm. :( the flashes of her personality that come through are SO VIVID and i'm real glad i'm reading, it's just...slow.
