For some reason I think Benny is supposed to be 14, but he speaks and acts like he's eight. The same with his friend who dresses differently every day. I don't get it. Kudos to the author for writing the kid as annoying as heck, but its annoying as heck!

Ugh! I know Benny is a young kid with special needs, but his internal and external voice is SOOO annoying! I'm giving this 10% more. If it doesn't get any better, then it's a DNF. I just can't!

Really? Really? I'm soooo not in the mood for this right now. I'll give it til 25% to wow me. If not, I'm done. The POV of the kid is annoying as it is. But for this to happen now? Too much. Not believable.
