reading the best book MZ has ever written right before reading her new book (that lowkey sounds like garbage to me) just to feel something

I’m listening to the audiobook version (since I’ve read this a million times) and I can’t help but laugh. Not what I imagined aurora or rhodes sounding like

got home and needed to re-read my favorite book of all time as a little sweet treat for surviving the sem.
Love how this book is instantly intriguing, by page 3 I was already locked in on aurora and her story.
I love picking up little bits of Rhodes I’d never noticed before or had forgotten.

Jesus Christ I forgot how sad the ending of this book is.

the spice game in this was def a step up from some of her others.

Rhodes is actually the loml holy shit. He’s so patient and caring and sweet and loving. I can’t.

Just got to the hike from hell rescue scene. That hug is forever ingrained in my grain 🥺

Now he’s comforting her in her apartment.

yknow it’s a MZ book when 38% is the equivalent of 217 pages.

WE JUST HAD OUR FIRST “angel” FROM RHODES 🫶🥺 Rhodes pet names for aurora are the only pet names that don’t make me actually gag.
