Trudging through. It is pretty jerky writing. And seems to be more about the men around her rather than trying to make way through Tasmanian wilderness. She has been taken (taken in?) by bush rangers and you know there are a couple romance elements developing even though it’s fucked up. Giving it a bit of grace bc it’s 1820s.
