rereading this even though it's only been months since my first read, because this novel is just so fucking GOOD it hooked me in immediately

I've dragged reading this book out as long as I could... I keep rereading whole chapters, jumping back and forth to extend the experience. Now I'm getting on to the last 100 or so pages and the thought that it will end soon makes me so sad.

I am continually being blown away by how good this is! I've always loved Dostoyevky's shorter novellas but even they pale in comparison to this book's absolute brilliance!
