Chapter 20 was super enlightening. It helped me to realise that when people do hurtful things in the moment, they do not think about you but of their own pleasure. They regret it instantly after, but in the moment they can only think about themselves. Therefore, we cannot expect to be anyone’s main priority in life and that is okay. Forgive those who hurt you, so that you can release yourself from negative emotions!
