I just read Anna and the French Kiss, which is a book where the MMC cheats on his girlfriend with the heroine. I was hoping to get away from cheating scandals for a while because they infuriate me, but alas, here we are. In The Bride, the MMC is having a heated makeout session with the heroine, even though he planned on proposing to another woman in a few days. Ughhhh this is so not romantic
