I’m enjoying the story, although it’s a little slow and predictable, but the narrator obviously doesn’t like the main character at all! She has imbued the heroine with a mean, sarcastic tone that makes her almost unbearable and I keep realizing that I’m hoping for her comeuppance in the nastiest ways. It’s sadly distracting when the reader has to translate the words with a kinder inflection.
