Poor Jeffery is a master stroke of horror fiction. The characters are well rounded & it's easy to hear their voices when reading them. The basic plot of Jeffery's misfortune is but a baseline that holds together a far wider experience & nuanced story. Great characterization & an addictive writing style make this book an absolute must for the horror reader & wider fan as a hole. Paul has earned every one of my 5 Stars
