I generally enjoy Moshfegh but this one is a bit of a stinker. in her past works I’ve found her grotesqueries of humanity interesting, this just seems devoid of anything meaningful or particularly interesting. On the plus side, I imagine I’ll finish it shortly. It has been a very fast read.
