Thus far the book is quite biographical, which makes it accessible and it develops a credible source of pathos. There have been plenty of solid references to follow up on and the reader is wise to take away the key point thus far: the Cold War, of which we are in the midst of a second go round, was waged by the US to carve out space for US corporate penetration into the economies of the global south.
