I really like this book. It makes me feel like when I was first getting into reading in middle school, and I read six of crows and throne of glass back to back. This makes me feel like that.

This is a very solid start. Im actually shocked by how good this book is so far. I was enticed by the concept of a story taking place entirely in a prison (a concept I myself am exploring in my own writing although mines more ultima underworld than the gulag). But I was still worried for a multitude of reasons. But it's very good so far. And I hope it stays like that.
