So a while ago I said I was planning to leave Goodreads and turn to StoryGraph full time instead - with the start of the new year I'm gonna stay true to my word and do it.
I won't delete this account, but I will log out and not log back in. As I said before, the only reason I held on to this website for so long was the social aspect, but only 2 people ever interact w/my stuff (Catherine & Taylor). cont'd in comments

I said I held on so long because of the social aspect (true) but also the reason I didn't quit earlier this year was because I hate to leave things incomplete. I hated the idea of a book just sitting forever on this profile "currently reading".
But that's the thing about books: you never complete them all. No matter how long you live. So, New Year's Eve seems like as perfect of a timing as it's going to get for things to be "complete" enough to fit the definition and leave.
