I am going to stop here… Chapter 27. It’s already been a trudge through the fantasy genre for me and I feel a predictable plot line. I would rather leave on a “good note” than invest in the series.

This one was hard to get through, but ended enjoyable. The second one was great!!!! The others fell short after that. You're not really missing much by not reading it.

Thanks! When it comes to series, I really try to invest my time wisely. Hate when the plot goes astray, so I would rather end with my own Denouement. ;)
I agree. It's so hard to start a series and not finish it, but I too, hate investing time in something I can't enjoy.
