I can see why this one works very well as a play. With a twist ending and ways to deceive the audience, as well as some amusing cliches, it keeps you on the edge of your seat. It might have been the narrator that made me rate this story 4 rather than 5 stars, but wonderful nonetheless!

I've listened to a few more of the Miss Marple stories and cannot get into them. But in all honesty, it's probably the narrator causing my brain to wander...

Story #2 - Strange Guest

This is my first Miss Marple story, and it took an interesting turn for sure. The detective is smart whitted, but the story itself was a little slow for how short it was. But that might have been due to the narrator more than anything.
