Although moving slow I enjoy so far, except that the author tells us how ugly the main character's face is over & over. Why would an autho do this to her readers. All I think of is her nose to big for her face that is pointed out over & over. Readers are imagining a very unattractive main character. Even the man who is attracted to her thinks she "it's pretty". So now it's more of a pity read. Woman is nice & honest,
