I like historical fiction very much, and this book is no exception. Set in Mississsippi during the 1960's, this is a walk through a hchapter in American History as seen through the eyes of Celeste Tyree, an idealistic African American college student who takes a summer off to work with the One Man, One Vote project in Pineyville, MS. The writing is very descriptive and very good.
