the dual POV successfully showed the two characters' personalities. The beautifully flowing narration and openly describing feelings are Lan's, while the all-facts, information, questions, observations and almost no feelings shown are Zen's. I usually get bothered with a book telling too much information especially how the world works, for this book, Zen is an exception 🤭
