If ever I doubted whether I'm in any way 'well-read' in (certain type of?) manga, it's cast aside by picking up on references like this. (Whether one'd care for it or not).
Glad they didn't make it obvious to this character however. It'd been a bit stretching of disbelief that an adult career man would have instant familiarity of such genre specific anecdote from a complete stranger.
