After a hard-fought battle and an escape from prison, many questions remain unanswered. It is left unknown if the main enemy managed to survive after his jewel flew off into the sky, not seen to have returned. This was the last book of this story so I suppose I won't find out unless they talk about it in the later novels.

As they continue to search for the missing goblins, the girls decide to go and train their dragons a bit. While training the dragons they decide to explore an old tower and find the missing goblins but are also caught themselves. Only one of them wasn't found and it was their dragon who must now make it back to town and get help for the girls.

The story continues to focus on the point of the murder mystery. As it evolves I realize more about the characters and start to come up with ideas for their own thought process. Watching the development and teaching of ways from the otherworlders to the actual inhabitants shows that people can still grow no matter how old or how much knowledge they have obtained.
