This first small collection of words an introduction, a perfect ending. Moving between his fathers death & his own open heart surgery & singing home.
If I finish the book here it feels sufficient.

I am slowly listening
I keep needing to take breaks because 1) there is so much self indulgence [though we are all guilty of that] 2) so much to say on Ukraine’s behalf but nothing for Palestine [in real life so far] Why one oppressed nation warrants compassion and a full on genocide is ignored by a very vocal, political activist only has one answer.
I am not ready to say good-bye to Bono yet.
