It is so frustrating. I’ve somewhat gotten used to the anticipation of wanting to know what happens next and then the POV switching in romance but at least that is usually only a chapter, max 2 before switching back but in these books you then go through everyone else’s place in the journey. It often feels like the other stories are just frustrating place fillers when it’s not the story I want to be focussed on
