An Ill wind blows good: 4 stars: a man is having an affair with a married woman. One day she dies and his grief comes after him. Turns out death was his wish in having her all along.

The Man From Plan(e)t X: 3 Stars: I’m honestly unsure what to think of this. Sure it’s SciFi but after it being after the house story, I’m not too sure. I’m not overly feeling it and I’ll have to take a break before the last story.

Private Sell: 3 Stars: a man who is swindling customers with fake murder trophies gets his due. His life consists of creating them and then selling them. He never makes enough to live on or be happy. He has a ghost that follows him and warns him not to go to the final sell. Problem is, instead of selling the ghost he sells crap and his life is forfeit. If more could have been done with the ghost I would have enjoyed

Nightmare Man: 4 Stars: a man has the ability to remove nightmares from people but the cost is of the flesh. One day a man hands him his wife’s tongue and as the nightmare man’s locked away nightmares escape the man who offered up the tongue has all of the locked away nightmares.

A Night At The Spring: 4 Stars: A man with broken bones is dying of his wounds and lack of water. He is within a few feet of water but he can’t reach it. While lying there dying he has visions of those he senselessly killed. As the visions remind him of his deeds he slowly losses it and fires off rounds. Upon his death he is discovered.

Goat Man: 5 Stars: Texas has plenty of stories about the goat man. Even my hometown has its version. But this one focuses on The Lakeworth Monster which is another version. But it throws a new spin with a back story on it being an alien and that the person listening to the alien is actually writing this story.

Lying Eyes: 4 Stars: a story about the removal of eyes by a psychopath and his life story. He prepares for his next victim only to have the tables turned. The moment she stated her private room I just knew the outcome. She collects scar tissue. He collects eyes. In the end, he gets what he wants and she gets what she wants. I can’t stand eye horror but this was good stuff

A Dark White Postscript: 5 Stars: a moving story about 150 years of violence and love. As a Texan, I wouldn’t be surprised about the lynchings. But to turn it into a ghost story and a love story. Damn, it was so moving. There were moments where I was wondering where the story was going but once it takes you, you can’t stop. A very Lansdale type of tale. I want to read more of E.R. Bills and tell him thanks,again

The Deal: 3 Stars: Woman wants to make a deal with the devil. she has 45 souls to offer. Only problem, she has nothing to offer as she has been dead for 3 years. Her father offered her soul up to the devil first. Thing is, it cost them both.

The Consequence of Thought: 4 Stars: A man with a low IQ was able to clone Hitler. Creating several clones all of which were failiures to the Aaryan and Skinhead nation. The man's daily routine show his failiures and re-creating Hilter has worn him out. His first clone is ready for graduation and death. The thing about this is Hitler knew hate but the clones didn't have the war time experience like he did.
