There’s something to be said for silence, I think. There’s a lot you can discover about a person in the quiet moments, a lot you can discover by which moments they choose for silence, or by watching their body language during it.

I don’t know how to be the guy who has a boyfriend when everyone I hang out with has a girlfriend. I don’t know how to feel excitement when a cute boy talks to me. That I’d rather get left behind at the Spot or stay home when they go out, than to sit with a guy like TJ in a busy restaurant and admit that he could have been hitting on me.
