The first of a trilogy . So world building & of characters.Mystery which isn't my favorite. I liked all the character. Nothing to annoy or not like about any of them. I think I'd just prefer my mystery as a standalone or done in 1 book. I liked the story but I don't think I can read the middle and end of this trilogy.

Why do I think this genre is for me? I like the urban fantasy I suppose (which hasn't really kicked in yet with this book). But the mystery/murder part? Urgh. I'm seeing where this is going. I mean I read Lucas' grandfather is in Scotland I knew where this is going. No wive got to keep reading them stumbling between falling in love and the case actaully leading somewhere.
