I have so much to say about this book but my thoughts are all over the place. One thing I do know is stay away from the audiobook if you know French because the pronunciations are very American and the character accents are a choice. This would be a great immersion read but when I hear Touraine's name as Tou-RAIN, nope, no thank you, all I hear is terrain.
