She meets other young persons, is taken to a computer class and paired with an obnoxious young man who is not happy about that. Suddenly we are thrown a sci-fi moment. Rayen, Tony and Gabby are pulled into a computer screen!

Another strange place with dangerous plants, terrible animal monsters, and people who are strangely dressed, with unusual changing hair, skin, and eye colors. They are taken prisoners by these young people. Rayen is called a tek-nah-tee. Rayen screams Tenadori as she goes in for the kill of the Croggle. Where have they ended up? What was the device that the three escaped from to land in this strange land?

A young adult time travel, sci fi novel. Rayen is the main character. The story starts out with her "landing" in an unfamiliar desert type setting. She is chased by a creature, escapes through a crack in the cliff, is taken prisoner by men in uniforms, along with other teens, who are called escapees from a teen delinquent facility. Rayen doesn't recognize anything or anyone. She doesn't know who she is.
