Of course, the author made that connection to Bhagavad Gita!

'just give attention to the action itself. The fruit will come of its own accord.. In the Bhagavad Gita, one of the oldest and most beautiful spiritual teachngs in existnce, non-attachment to the fruit of your action is called karma yoga. It is described as the path of 'consecrated action'.

N this entire thing reminds me of 'the surrender experiment' book

This is reminding me so much about 'Vipassana' form of meditation and the philosophy behind it!

Bharath Veda, if you like this, do lookup - 'The Untethered Soul', 'The Presence Process' and 'A Million Thoughts'.

Thank you very much for the recs, Bharath 🙏🏾
Oh! I have had 'the untethered soul' on my list for some time now. I read his other book 'the surrender experiment', and it gave me quite a bit to think about. Now that you have also mentioned the other one, I think I will enjoy reading that as well.

Yup, checking the other two as well.
Thank you once again 😀

Bharath Ok Veda. The Untethered Soul is introductory. If you have read his next book, you can skip this.

Ah okay! I remember writing in my note that I would have probably understood better some of the pointers the author was trying to make if I had read his earlier book first.
Since you mentioned that his other book is introductory, I am guessing that 'the surrender experiment' is about how he practically applied all that he spoke about in his first book. Did I get that right?

Bharath That is right Veda. The first is more concepts like Power of Now.

Ah, I get it now 😀 Thank you for your inputs, Bharath 🙏🏾
Like you suggested, I will skip 'The Untethered Soul'
