Jones’ writing isn’t anything special, but i love her detailed descriptions of each character. i have a perfect idea of of what Sophie, Calcifer (who hasn’t been named yet in the book I now realize), and even the little tidbits of Michael we have. oh to be a woman stuck in an evil wizard’s house only to fall in love with him!!
