I hope I love this book, but it already has one giant thing against it. It plays into the stereotypes steps dad's are pervs. As a woman raised by a loving amazing step dad and married to a man who adopted his step daughters, this theme where all step dad's are gross is very upsetting. I get it happens, but it happens with bio dad's too.
