Brown speaks almost as fluently on the scientific side as he does on the biblical side, and without any of the lazier forms of concordism, he finds plenty of bridges to draw analogies - E.O. Wilson seems to be a real favorite. Beyond that, Brown has a truly enviable gift with words, often finding turns of phrase that shine like high poetry.
