An unusual ABO spin that didn’t entirely work: I was always slightly removed from the story, not able to seamlessly go with, or grasp, the idea of the alpha female in the way I think the author wanted me to. I was annoyed that she was a tiny woman in human form; why couldn’t she have just been a big woman as well as wolf? Asides from these troubles, a suspenseful, engaging, and emotional story. Recommended.
