I've not read or watched the movie of this but I have read two of his other books: 13 Moons and Nightwoods. Just finished Nightwoods actually. I find that he's kind of like Dean Koontz for me. You're reading his books and then at some point you don't want to be reading but you can't stop reading. Kind of that trainwreck you can't look away from... Nightwoods had some cringe worthy moments but I liked it a lot in the end.

Interesting. The movie of this one is one of my favorites and I definitely recommend it. Found the book recently and decided I should try it. Haven’t read any of his others though. So far so good.
