I want to finish this book, but I’m terrified at the same time. I know it’s going to rip my heart out somehow. 😨😭

I would say poor Lionel… but he deserves every single bad thing that’s happening to him.

“Do you have a message for Darius?” Gabriel prompted me
“Just…tell him not to be a dick while I’m gone,” I muttered.
“Seems unlikely, but I'll tell him,” Gabriel replied. “Shall I pass on a message of your unending love too or just the dick thing?”
“Fine,” I huffed. “Tell him I love him and he can’t be a dick while I’m gone. Good enough for you, asshole?”
“It brings a tear to my eye,” Gabriel said.
