Similar to her other books I’ve been reading it non stop. I imagine that if this novel were made into a screen adaptation it would have the solemn eerie nature to that of The Witch. Grim Fairy Tales eat your heart out.

Odessa never seizes to capture my attention. Her haunting attention to detail that paints a grotesque picture of humanity (or any which subject she decides to cover in her stories).
