Honestly, I still really love this book. This series may be referred to “junk food for the brain” but it’s still worth the time I’m taking to read it. And the POVs from underdeveloped characters actually adds small details to the storyline!

Okay, so yes this book is long, and yes it should’ve ended with this book but that being said, THE NYMPHS!! So far being halfway through the book, learning more about them and seeing their villages is by far my favourite part of book 8 thus far. I’m absolutely in love with the historic aspect they put into this book!! 10/10 for me.

Part of me feels at this point that the POVs from under developed characters would’ve been better off either not there or in a different book. HOWEVER I am just aching for one particular relationship to FINALLY just bloom. IYKYK😅
So far the book is a solid 4 ⭐️ rating because I’m very good at sifting through fillers and taking away what’s most important to the story.
