A sad part of the book is when the protagonist Jennifer inversely tried to commit suicide. Jennifer has had a down hill life up to this point, to point were you give attention that anyone could end your life and except that. She almost khs by ¨the slightly hyperventilating intake of drugs and alcohol, allowing her to drift off on a cloud of Xanax and tequila¨(2). This is shows how sad her life was up to this point.

A stressful situation in the book is when, Jennfier ran away and Gabby was frantically trying to find her. This is stressful since Jennfier might kill herself and Gabby is responsible for her.”She knew only that she must find Jennifer and stop her before it was too late, before she lost her granddaughter forever.”.(92) this illustrates the panic that Gabby was in by showing that this is all she can think about.

A funny part of the book is when. Jennifer and her grandmother Gabby were shoveling horse poop. I find this funny since it’s such an out of Earth activity especially for a grandma and her grandchild, and shoveling horse poop.”How many granddaughter do you suppose can say they shoveled horse pop with nanas(grandma) even once in their life?“(p44) This shows by asking this question that not many would do this willingly.
