I feel like I am reading about a bunch of 8th graders. The characters are a bit dumb. Im also a little offended how authors tend to portray people in small towns of Texas. Its like saying everyone in Tx wear cowboy hats and boots, its just not true. Not everyone in small town texas are so small, simple minded, and judgemental.

This is a Really bad book in my opinion. Micah is a Douche, Rex is a douche, nobody acts their age. I can understand a town loving their QB, but shunning a girl and calling her a whore, because she caught her bf cheating? seriously. And the author seems to think most texans in small towns are rednecks. are you serious? and nobody uses the word aint anymore.... Just Sayin....
