I got about halfway through and realized that I had no clue what had been going on. I love Marie Brennan's other work, but this one is falling a little flat for me. I enjoy and follow Invidiana's Court easier than that of Queen Elizabeth. The historical details end up confusing me and distracting me from the main storyline. I've lost interest for now, but I'll give it a second chance another time.
