I was reading a sample from this book earlier today while I sat outside on the balcony with the dog. I sent an excerpt to Jayson, because I thought he might like it. He ended up buying a copy of the book for me and for himself. I’m enjoying it a lot so far.

I hate that the end of this book is filled with poems. It feels like going to see an action movie but then there’s an opera at the end for some reason. Maybe I would’ve liked the opera if I’d been in the right state of mind for it! But I’m not. Putting them aside to give them a proper chance later means I won’t get to mark this book as finished and delete it from my device. So, they must go.
