Interesting to say the least. Great beginning and end. The middle drags immensely yet there was something, the beautiful prose, the Americana, the anticipation of a payoff which just kept me reading. Not necessarily a book I would recommend because it wasn’t exactly to my taste and not even close to the taste of anyone I know.
