Its competently written, but it definitely has the hallmakrs of a debut. The characterisation isn't very strong, it moves very fast like it's just going from plot neccesity to plot neccesity. With an edit this could be a fantastic read. We'll see how i feel 100 pages in before i decide to DNF or not. Its a great premise!
