I like that the author has an accesible writing style and a lot of what he presents is genuinely interesting however I find that I dont always relate to reasons he gives as to why the athenians worshipped and maybe his is because I'm not an ancient athenian or maybe it's because the author isn't a hellenic polytheist himself so I'm trying to figure that out
